About Carey Hart
Carey Hart is one of the most recognized names in all of freestyle motocross. From the sport’s inception, Carey has been one of the most innovative riders in the sport. He is the inventor of the Hart Attack, and at the 2000 Gravity Games Carey etched his name in the record books as the first rider ever to complete a backflip on a 250cc motorcycle.
Off the motorcycle he pursued his passion of business with the creation of Hart and Huntington Tattoo Co., along with Hart and Huntington clothing. His first tattoo shop was featured on 3 seasons of A&E’s hit television series “Inked”, which lead to the opening of more locations around the United States and Canada. In addition to these business ventures, he still dedicates significant time to one of his biggest passions, his Supercross team with co-owner Ricky Carmichael.
In 2016 Carey also launched Good Ride, a charity motorcycle event. With stops in Laughlin and Sturgis for the 76th rally, money was raised for both Infinite Hero Foundation and local Sturgis charities.
About Peace*Love*Happiness Charity
The Peace*Love*Happiness Charity Motorcycle Ride was conceived in 2002 while two bikers were riding through the Texas Hill Country. During a pit-stop at Poodies Hill Top, John Paul Dejoria, “Captain of Industry” and “Steward of the Planet”, along with his long time friend and riding buddy, Gary Spellman, decided to take a stand after hearing how horribly an Austin Police Officer was being criticized for risking his life to save another. That day, the Peace*Love*Happiness was born. They would go on to create an event that helped and supported the families of fallen peace officers and abused and neglected children. Since then, the event has gone on to support not only the 100 Club of Central Texas, but also Veterans through Infinite Hero Foundation and Combat Wounded Coalition.
