About AIRPOWER FOUNDATION

The Airpower Foundation was founded by the nation’s oldest military support organization, The Fort Worth Airpower Council, to be a nationwide non-profit dedicated to supporting active duty, reserve and National Guard families. The Foundation also supports projects for children who have lost a parent in the war, wounded warriors and veterans.

How We Helped

The Brain Treatment Center (braintreatmentcenter.com) received $200,000 for MRT Treatment, which uses non-invasive neuro-modulation to treat the physiological cause of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by restoring normal brainwave activity to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and anger to help sleep patterns.

Carrick Brain Center (carrickbraincenters.com) received $200,000 to treat veterans combining evidence-based diagnostics with leading-edge technologies and treatments to improve quality of life for service members and their families.

In October 2014, Chief Warrant Officer S Gary A. Linfoot (ret.), paralyzed in a helicopter crash while serving in Iraq, became the first military recipient of an EKSO exoskeleton for home use through a $100,000 grant from Infinite Hero Foundation. Linfoot, with his wife Mari and son Hayden as his support, completed over 250,000 steps using the device as part of a study to improve upon the technologies.
