When it Comes to Helping Out, Hart Knows Food Brings People Together
Written By: Charlotte Farrell
What do Wienerschnitzel and motorcycles have in common? More than you think. Carey Hart, Freestyle Moto Legend, is combining food with a good cause, bringing about awareness for the Infinite Hero Foundation this Friday at the Wienerschnitzel on East Charleston St. from 1-3 p.m. Carey Hart Wienerschnitzel
And don’t expect Hart to be sitting on the sidelines during the event. You will witness the jack of all trades cooking in the kitchen, taking orders, signing autographs and pausing for a snap with his fans. The famous Wienerschnitzel mascot, aka “The Delicious One,” aka “The World’s Most Wanted Wiener,” will be on deck to hand out free Wienerschnitzel swag for fans and supporters.
At the core of the event is a wonderful cause. The Infinite Hero Foundation reminds us that not all heroes wear capes, and sheds light on the mental and physical health challenges that face military heroes and their families after they return home from war. The foundation rewards these brave individuals for their sacrifices by providing rehabilitation programs and funding for treatment and assistance with their unique needs.
Wienerschnitzel Executive Vice President J.R. Galardi, who will also be in attendance, stated that “It’s always fun watching Carey do a restaurant take over. This one in Las Vegas will be the second one he has done and I’m excited to see how fast he can wrap a chili dog now that he’s had some practice. Carey is a long-time supporter of our military veterans.”
On top of the foodie fun, Carey will also be hosting a Good Ride Rally on Saturday into Las Vegas with anyone who loves to ride motorcycles while raising additional proceeds to benefit the Infinite Hero Foundation.
So, what better way to spend a couple hours on a Friday than eating some hot dogs, hanging out with Carey Hart and some surprise celebrity appearances and thanking our troops for their service. Start your engines!
